Before and after hairline lowering surgery on this 46 year old patient. This was a highly effective way to restore her receded hairline from frontal fibrosing alopecia (FFA). Hair transplants alone are often not successful in FFA, but combining this surgery with fat transfer to the temples and sideburns can improve results. The fat grafting helps prepare these areas so that hair grafts can be placed more successfully later.
